Thanks for sharing, Vern. Glad you got to take your mom to see Sinatra. I have not heard of Dolly Sinatra being a "stage mother" nor having Mob ties. She was very active in local Democratic politics, however. She and Marty Sinatra were vehemently opposed to him dropping out of high school to pursue singing. Eventually, they accepted it and he always helped care for his parents financially, as well as his first wife Nancy and second wife Ava. No doubt there were many sides to Sinatra, not all good, but I have heard many personal stories in palm Springs about how generous he was and how he would spontaneously send money to people in need in the area and ask to remain anonymous. Fascinating man for sure.
